Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission Awards Multi-Year Contract to CapTech
Under terms of the contract, CapTech will provide consulting and technical services to address three key areas of VWCC's Enterprise Modernization Program: electronic data reporting based on industry standards, workflows driven by the data collection, and web-facing access to both collected data and information generated by working the data. The enterprise project is a result of a 2006 study of the VWCC's core business processes and supporting technologies.
"Once we determined a need to make strategic decisions concerning process improvements, system upgrades, architectural changes, and technology asset management, we began our search for an information systems consulting firm," said Matthew Bryant, Program Director, VWCC. "After reviewing proposals from five vendors for design and delivery services, we selected CapTech because it is well positioned to provide the management consulting services and technical deliverables required to successfully meet our objectives."
"We look forward to helping the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission improve processes, integrate new technologies, and achieve results by combining our proven best practices with our understanding of the unique state government environment," said Sandy Williamson, Chief Executive Officer, CapTech.
