A global
financial services company, as part of their Enterprise Architecture
Assessment,
identified performance testing of their E-Commerce business as one of
the main
areas in need of attention. Their
current processes suffered from performance related production incidents
and businesses
functions being done in silos. Due to
the complexity of their infrastructure, networks, and applications this
engagement called for consultants with in depth knowledge in the subject
matter
in order to perform a comprehensive assessment to identify gaps and
derive the
initiatives to address those gaps.
Solution:
CapTech provided a methodical and professional
approach to this assessment while analyzing everything from people and
technology to processes and information.
A few of the milestones reached during this engagement were:
CapTech consultants collected and compiled a list of industry
standards and best practices specifically required to support the
assessment
CapTech consultants interviewed 38 experts in
different roles
related to performance testing
CapTech consultants then
identified, classified, and compiled a
list of gaps between the standards/best practices and the client’s
current
state. They also made specific
recommendations for addressing each gap found.
CapTech designed the future
state and detailed the major initiatives required in order to reach that
future
state.
Tools:

initiatives needed in order to implement the recommendations.
