December 20, 2018 - Competing in the CapTech National Food Fight, CapTech Columbus raised $3,674 for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, equating to $36,740 worth of groceries to hungry neighbors. The CapTech Food Fight is a friendly competition among the consulting firm's eight office locations. The check presentation took place at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank on November 30.

"Mid-Ohio Foodbank is incredibly grateful for the efforts of CapTech Food Fight. The money raised will help provide fresh food for our 525,000 hungry neighbors and contribute to our mission to end hunger," said Mid-Ohio Foodbank President and CEO Matt Hasbash.

CapTech's National Food Fight, which takes place annually in November, raised over $115,000 for local food banks across the country in 2018. CapTech Columbus competed against other offices to raise the most funds per capita for local food banks. "It was inspiring to see our consultants come together with generosity and creativity to support the Mid-Ohio Foodbank's mission," said CapTech office lead John Reed.

The Mid-Ohio Foodbank provides more than 154,500 meals every day to hungry people across central and eastern Ohio through their partnerships. Their mission is to end hunger one nourishing meal at a time, while co-creating communities where everyone thrives. To learn more about donating or volunteering, visit www.midohiofoodbank.org.
