CapTech Partners with Dress for Success to Help Get More Women in the Workforce

Richmond, VA – August 11, 2017 – On August 7th, CapTech's Women's Technology Leadership Coalition (WTLC) successfully delivered the donations that resulted from a group led fundraiser for Dress for Success in Richmond. Taking place from July 3rd through the 26th, the fundraiser resulted in over 600 articles of interview-appropriate clothing, and over 50 handbags/accessories/shoes for the organization.

Dress for Success Central Virginia is a local affiliate of the international non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

"I am excited about CapTech WTLC's new partnership with Dress for Success! I think we can all agree that we are very fortunate to have fulfilling careers and it is humbling to know that we can come together and help women in our community achieve that same goal," said one of the event organizers, Megan E Morris.
