CapTech and Shepherd Center to Demo AutoCoach at GA Highway Safety Conference

CapTech

ATLANTA, GA – On August 21, 2017, CapTech joined the not-for-profit Shepherd Center at the 2017 Georgia Highway Safety Conference to demo and promote the Shepherd Center AutoCoach App.

Partnering with the Georgia Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) and CapTech, Shepherd Center's certified driver rehabilitation specialists and injury prevention experts used their specialized training to create AutoCoach, an app that makes it easier for adults to teach teens to drive safely and defensively.

Boyd Christian represented CapTech at the GA Highway Safety Conference to discuss the user experience, design, and development of the app. He leads account management, client relationships, and growth for the Atlanta region, and has extensive experience in advancing innovation and growth for Fortune 500 companies.

The AutoCoach app includes a customizable parent-teen agreement; a graduated driver's licensing quiz that can be varied by state; distraction notifications; a driving log; and a 10-chapter curriculum based on best practices. Since its launch in July 2017, AutoCoach has brought together the best in driver-education content and driver-log technology. The result is an intuitive user experience that guides parents through the entire driver education process while meeting driver-license requirements of all 50 states.
