Our community impact work, CapTech Cares, incorporates both corporate philanthropy and corporate responsibility into our business planning and operations. We are guided by the idea that we have an opportunity to make the world a better place for our people, clients, and communities.

From individual CapTechers finding ways to make a difference through volunteering their funds, time, and services, to our company-wide efforts organized under the CapTech Cares program, our philanthropic and responsibility efforts reach every corner of our organization.     Annual CapTech Cares Events

    Week of Caring

    ​​​​​​​First started in 2020, we set aside a week to focus on both individual CapTecher and community care. Each day has a focus theme, with engagement opportunities and meaningful reminders of the importance of giving back to others and ourselves. 

    Food Fight

    This has been a CapTech tradition for many years. This is a several-week campaign to raise awareness and support for the food insecurity issues in our local communities. Friendly and creative competitions occur across offices to see if we can beat last year’s goals.

    Top Tier Platinum Certification


    A trusted authority in green business, Green Business Benchmark (GBB) provides a sustainability framework that allows companies to manage and certify their green initiatives to drive positive change. Sustainable business practices are a significant part of CapTech Cares, and we are proud to have achieved GBB’s top-tier Platinum level certification.

    Environmental Policy Statement

    A message from CapTech CEO Andy Sofish

    CapTech’s commitment to the environment includes conducting its business in compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations. We work to continuously improve environmental performance in all operations, in each of our office locations.

    CapTech’s employees work remotely and travel to our offices for meetings on an as needed basis. We lease all our office spaces nationally and we do not own any company cars. We do not manufacture or produce any tangible products. In 2023, we established platinum certification with the Green Business Bureau (GBB) for our sustainable initiatives. In 2024 we have goals to baseline our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, establish Supplier Code of Conduct, Sustainable Purchasing and Waste Management policies, and create our Environmental Management System (EMS) to further formalize our commitment to our environmentally responsible business practices.

    These business practices are intended to benefit all employees, our communities, neighbors, and the various stakeholders of CapTech. Specifically:

    Employees, contractors, and suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations.​

    We will maintain a workforce that is educated and trained on our environmental impacts, risks, and performance goals.​

    Through our waste management policy commitments, we will implement effective strategies and best practices to limit waste by re-using, recycling, and diverting waste from our landfills. ​

    Through our sustainable purchasing policy commitments, we have an opportunity to use our purchasing power to reduce adverse impacts of the products we use.​

    Through understanding our GHG emissions, continuing our GBB membership, and establishing an EMS process, we will target initiatives that continuously improve our environmental performance.​

    We will continue to partner with our clients in achieving their environmental and sustainability goals.​
