On March 24th, CapTech Atlanta visited SweetWater Brewing Company to attend Gas South's annual Charity Shindig. The proceeds of the event were placed into a pot that local nonprofits competed to win in a cornhole tournament during SweetWater's annual 420 Fest, a 3-day music and arts festival held in Centennial Olympic Park. After making an impressive $2,500 donation to the cause, the participating CapTechers were treated to a relaxing day of food, beer tastings, cornhole, live music, and brewery tours.
This year, the $10,000 prize raised by Gas South's Charity Shindig went to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, who were the undisputed cornhole champions! Additionally, a second place prize of $4,000 was donated to Georgia Jack Russell Rescue and $2,000 went to both United Way and The Giving Kitchen for taking third and fourth place, respectively. CapTech ATL was thrilled to see the proceeds go to such wonderful and deserving organizations!
