CapTech to Sponsor James River High School's River Jam

On March 10, 2018, CapTech will be sponsoring James River High School's River Jam, a charity music and arts festival aimed at creating a positive campus culture and starting a conversation about mental health issues in Chesterfield County. River Jam will feature music by local bands as well as food from local food trucks and will take place at James River High School.

CapTecher and James River High School parent, Prissie Nguyen says, "CapTech is proud to be an Advertising/Media Sponsor for James River High School's River. More than 3,400 high schoolers attempt suicide every day in America. And last year, two students from James River High School killed themselves. With several CapTechers being alumni or having children currently enrolled at James River High School, our immediate community is currently affected by this problem. The proceeds from River Jam will benefit the Cameron K Gallagher Foundation, which builds programs for teenagers suffering from mental illness and provides resources for suicide prevention. With more than 700 people anticipated to attend, CapTech's sponsorship and participation will allow us to demonstrate our core values of Servant Leadership and Enthusiasm."
