CapTech Atlanta Announces Expansion and Relocation to New Office in Midtown With Plans to Create 100 Jobs by 2018

Atlanta Office ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate new office location opening.

ATLANTA, GA – November 6, 2017 – IT management consulting firm CapTech announced today the relocation of its expanded operations in Atlanta to 600 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 400 in Midtown, just blocks from Technology Square. CapTech celebrated the office opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 2nd.

CapTech announced its expansion into the Atlanta market in September 2016. At that time, the company said it planned to create 50 new technology and management consulting jobs by 2018. CapTech's Atlanta consultants have already reached that number, and the company's new goal is to create a total of 100 local consulting jobs in 2018. CapTech employes 900 nationwide.

The firm's new office is located in Atlanta's tallest building with iconic architecture and sits in the fast growth hub of technology and innovation in the Southeast. "CapTech is excited to contribute to Atlanta's boom in tech job creation," said Office Lead Boyd Christian. "We are equally excited for our rapidly expanding team to be centrally located in the city's hi-tech headquarters and for the proximity to our employees' homes and mass transit. Almost half of our CapTechers can walk to work! It also puts us in close proximity to Georgia Tech, the 7th best Engineering school in the world."

CapTech Atlanta has followed the corporate philosophy of commitment to social responsibility by leveraging their unique creative and technical talent to impact positive change where they live and work. This summer, CapTech partnered with the Atlanta BridgeCommunity founded by The Coca-Cola Company to deliver curriculum to YearUp Greater Atlanta students and teach skill development using voice activation technology based on Amazon Alexa. Over five weeks, CapTechers invested 600+ hours lending their skills to help 20 low-income young adults learn how to develop applications utilizing the cloud and natural language processing. The program culminated with final presentations at the Future Entrepreneur Showcase at The Coca-Cola Company headquarters in front of a panel of Atlanta executives, innovators, and investors who judged the teams' apps. "We were honored to partner with one of the world's most recognizable brands and their non-profit partners to give back to Atlanta and to prepare future leaders," said Christian.

Through the company's extensive pro bono program, CapTech has partnered with The Shepherd Center to provide strategic vision for the non-profit's Injury Prevention Program. Additionally, CapTechers worked with The Shepherd Center and Georgia Governor's Office of Highway Safety to develop the AutoCoach mobile app, delivering an innovative way to make it easier for adults to effectively teach their teens to drive defensively and safely. CapTech volunteers are working with non-profits including Covenant House and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to give back and make a difference.
