CapTech is privileged to be a Legacy Sponsor of the inaugural Richmond Brain Tumor Brewhaha 5K Walk and Run to raise awareness of the work the National Brain Tumor Society does to drive advancements in research and advocacy for public policy changes on behalf of the over 700K people living with this disease and those not yet diagnosed.

The Brain Tumor Brewhaha is a family-friendly timed 5K Run and Walk to raise awareness and funds for the Brain Tumor Community. The event will be held on November 3 in Scott's Addition at the intersection of McTavish & Moore St.

"We are honored and thrilled to support all of the great work that the National Brain Tumor Society does to raise awareness for this disease and their tireless efforts to find a cure and provide better treatment options for patients," said Owen McMillan, talent acquisition specialist at CapTech. "Our employees are passionate about helping local charities who make a difference and this cause impacts so many of us on a personal level.

All funds raised through the National Brain Tumor Society's charitable events advance brain tumor research and public policy initiatives. The National Brain Tumor Society will be securing perks and benefits from area restaurants, retail shops, health and wellness studios, and breweries among others. Those benefits can be redeemed by wristband-wearing participants following the event.
