CapTech to present at 2018 PSBAW

Two CapTechers will provide their technical expertise as speakers at the renowned ProjectSummit* BusinessAnalystWorld event ─ the largest series of conferences for project managers and business analysts in North America ─ held from June 18 – 20, 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Arlington, VA.

The conferences provide unique training and educational opportunities for project and business analysis professionals looking to grow and expand their knowledge of industry trends and innovations and engage with their peers.

Jack Cox, a CapTech Fellow, will lead two sessions at the event under the Technology, Tools & Innovation symposium track:

  • June 18, 11:15 am to 12:15 pm: Introduction to Machine Learning. This workshop surveys the Machine Learning domain and will provide the attendee with knowledge about the different types of Machine Learning, how the different areas can apply to traditional businesses, and lessons learned on how to succeed with a Machine Learning project.
  • June 18, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: What's in Your Mobile Analysis Toolkit. Jack will discuss the pitfalls and mistakes made by companies in their rapid pursuit of mobile applications, the new facets to consider when specifying a mobile system, and the right questions to ask when initiating a mobile project.

Ben Nelson, a Solutions Architect at CapTech, will lead an interactive session:

  • June 19, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Diary of an Agile PM. During the symposium, Ben will discuss how to overcome PM and team lead challenges through real-life scenarios and will provide attendees with ideas on how to address and mitigate current issues on their own projects.

"Machine learning and Mobile apps are major new technologies that touch our lives every day. I'm excited to 'pull back the curtain' on these technologies so analysts and project managers can fully exploit their potential," said Cox.

"Successful project management does not happen by accident. I'm looking forward to sharing good and bad experiences and facilitating a meaningful conversation," said Nelson.

If you are looking for inspiration, want to network with industry peers, and learn from some of the sharpest minds in the business, this event is for you.
