CapTecher Receives 2015 Business Analyst of the Year Award

RESTON, VA – CapTech is pleased to congratulate our consultant and Manager Harlan Bennett who received the 2015 Business Analyst of the Year Award from the DC Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). This inaugural award was presented to recognize significant contributions in three key areas: business value to your organization, delivering value to the Business Analyst profession and fostering growth in the Business Analyst profession. Bennett was recognized at the 2^nd Annual IIBA BA Dev Day in Arlington, VA on October 2, 2015.

Nominees were selected by a Steering Committee and the three finalists included two consultants from CapTech, Bennett and Kevin Ebberts. In addition to his contributions to the BA profession, Bennett currently serves as Chapter President for the IIBA DC Chapter. "I started my career as an analyst and I've been striving to push and develop that role and marry it with similar responsibilities," said Bennett. "Having someone on a project who can coordinate all of the components and requirements is an important piece of a successful business outcome. I am happy that I have been able to be part of this profession, watch it grow and contribute to its success."
