GMABFC had a legacy website that was difficult to maintain, and did not fully support the organization's needs to grow and scale. Five CapTechers donated over 700 hours to understand the volunteer organization's requirements and develop a modern digital presence that highlight stories from their beneficiaries, promote events, accept online donations, engage volunteers and sponsors, and integrate with social media.
"The modernized website will allow our volunteer team to become more scalable to support more breaks for more people. ," said CapTecher and GMABFC board member, Brian Murray. "The CapTech team was very methodical, professional, and seamless in their ability to transform Give Me a Break's vision and requirements into an easy to use website that will put the organization on the map."
The modernized website will also allow GMABFC to scale up and support those going through intense medical treatment, as well as their caregivers-all of whom deserve a much-needed break. To learn more about GMABFC or to get involved, visit the new website at www.gmabfc.org.
