CapTech, a Henrico County-based technology and management consulting firm, said Monday that it has opened a new office and client delivery center in Denver. The office is CapTech's 11th in the U.S. and is part of an expansion that included opening offices in Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio, in 2016.

Founded in Richmond in 1997, CapTech employs hundreds of consultants who work with clients, including businesses and government agencies, to better utilize technology in their operations. The company has been on Inc. magazine's annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing U.S. companies for 10 years, at times ranking as the fastest-growing company in Virginia.

CapTech has 15 employees in Denver and is recruiting more. Five positions are open, and the company said it expects to hire about 50 more consultants.

The Denver office is being led by Greg Kintzele, a consultant in Denver who joined CapTech in November. The Denver office also will be one of CapTech's three client delivery centers, where consultants can work remotely with clients nationally.

CapTech CEO Kevin McQueen said Denver is a growing market with a talented workforce and a diverse group of Fortune 1000 companies in industries the company serves.

"Additionally, Denver is a great hub to the West Coast where a growing number of our clients are based, so a delivery center in this time zone improves our ability to serve Midwest and West Coast clients," he said.
