This new insight piece covers the value of data-sharing initiatives, barriers to data integration, potential use cases and recommendations for solving challenges.

Carmen noted that state IT departments are taking data silos seriously and that data and analytics and business intelligence is the fourth highest priority for the coming year for state CIOs.
